Power cables stolen from area transformer

 KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Unknown person (s) stole 23 pieces of cables (186 meters in length) from one power transformer in Sabah Al-Salem. An official from the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) reported the theft in Sabah Al-Salem police station, and experts have since examined the scene and lifted fingerprints to trail the suspects. Meanwhile, two individuals in a pick-up truck raided a camp on the 7th Ring Road and carted away all items there. Owner of the camp informed security operatives that his neighbor’s security guard had called to tell him about the theft. The police collected necessary details to arrest the suspects.

Woman swindles man: An unidentified 40- year-old man has filed a complaint with the Fahaheel Police Station accusing a female Arab expatriate of fraud and swindling him, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the complainant the suspect made him believe that together they can make a lot of money by investing in a small business of ready-made garments and he gave her KD 2,500. He added, after receiving the money she closed her cell phone. He has provided police information about the suspect
