MoI orders probe into theft of 3 pistols

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Monday ordered opening an urgent probe into the theft of three pistols from Special Security Forces camp. The probe must determine the shortcomings which led to the disappearance of the three pistols and a few number of bullets from the camp, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior tonight. Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled assigned Undersecretary of the Ministry Lt Gen Suleiman Al-Fahad to lead the investigation in collaboration with teams from the general department of supervision and inspection and the criminal investigations dept., the statement added. Smoking hashish in open: The Kuwait International Airport police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti man for consuming hashish inside a café at the airport, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the man was accompanied by a woman. They have both been referred to the concerned authority
