Cabinet backs Public Authority for expat hires

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: The Council of Ministers, in the last executive meeting chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, took a decisive decision on the expatriate workers recruitment file by approving the concepts presented by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Subaih, reports Al-Anba daily. A source was quoted as saying the concepts were meant to set off the wheel of Public Authority for Manpower to block the loopholes exploited for human trafficking through visa trade. He declared the concepts proposed by the minister would help resolve all issues relating to the expatriate workers, while evaluating the needs of employers based on the labor market.
