Teen in women’s garb enters washroom

KUWAIT CITY, March 23: A 16-year old Kuwaiti boy in women’s clothes (abaya and niqab) was caught up in scandal, as several girls started hooting at him when he entered the washroom for ladies at a commercial complex in Fahaheel area. Security sources said the girls found the youth inside the washroom and started shouting with other women, so security workers in the complex notified the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry and the police arrived at the scene and referred the perpetrator to the concerned authority.

Royal says assaulted: An unidentified member of the ruling family has filed a complaint with a police station accusing seven football players of assaulting him, reports Al-Rai daily. In his complaint the victim said he was refereeing a football match and when he gave a foul against one of the players, seven of them ganged up and beat him. Police will summon the suspects for interrogation.

Expat duo held: Police have arrested two expatriates for possessing five thousands Tramadol pills, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily said police acting on information set a trap for the suspect and caught him in possession with the pills. During interrogation the man admitted to selling the pills and gave police information about his accomplice. The contraband and the suspects have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control.
