Securitymen arrest Briton, Bedoun for stabbing grocer in shoulder Thieves decamp with 3 cellphones, laptop from woman’s car

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: A Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint at Farwaniya Police Station against some unknown individuals, accusing them of breaking into her vehicle to steal three mobile phones and a laptop, reports Al-Anba daily. She explained that she had parked her vehicle at a parking lot near her house before retiring home for the night and had discovered the theft only the following morning. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the unknown suspects.

Meanwhile, two unknown individuals who spoke Arabic fluently robbed an Asian expatriate of KD 55 at knifepoint. According to security sources, the victim lodged a complaint at Khaitan Police Station, explaining that he was walking down a road when the suspects waylaid him and forced him to pull out his wallet. One of the suspects hit him hard, causing him to fall. They then fled from the location. Securitymen have started investigations to find and arrest the two suspects. In the meantime, two men - a Briton and a Bedoun, were arrested for stabbing a grocer on the shoulder and stealing all proceeds of the day’s sale from the store in Farwaniya area. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior, Farwaniya securitymen rushed to the location after receiving information about the theft. They combed the entire area and managed to eventually arrest the suspects. They have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal procedures.
