2 citizens, Syrian held for drugs Securitymen arrest Asian with 437 narcotic pills

 KUWAIT CITY, March 15: Two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in South Surra for consuming alcohol and possessing illicit drugs. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling the area when they stopped a vehicle with two occupants for checking. After realizing that the driver was drunk, securitymen checked the vehicle to find a concealed red plastic bag containing half pill of ‘strawberry drug’, another type of drug, rolled cigarettes and a wrap of hashish.

The suspects were referred with the illicit items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Meanwhile, a 30-year old Iranian expatriate was arrested in Salmiya for consuming alcohol and possessing ‘Shabu’ drug. Sources revealed that the suspect started running when he saw the patrol vehicle of the officers in Salmiya area, which stirred doubts in the officers.

They caught him to realize he was drunk and was in possession of a transparent bag containing ‘Shabu’ drug and tools used for consuming drugs. He was referred to the concerned authorities for legal procedures. Similarly, Hawally securitymen arrested a unidentified 19-year old teenager in possession of illicit drugs and sorcery materials in Salmiya. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was arrested in Fahaheel area in possession of 437 narcotic pills.

According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Fahaheel area when they noticed a man walking on the footpath. They stopped him to check his Civil ID and discovered his residency had expired. They checked him to find 437 narcotic pills, which he revealed he was planning to sell to some of his customers. The suspect was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
