Tainted bottled water seized ‘Pull commodity from market’

According to director of the branch - Shuraida Al-Mutairi, the officials discovered the contaminated water when they inspected a company; indicating the product is being sold in the local market in large quantities. He said the water poses a grave threat to the health of consumers. He disclosed he has forwarded a letter to Municipality Director Ahmad Al-Subaih in order to recall the product in line with the regulations of the Municipality to protect public health.
