Lankan loses cash in mugging Indian delivery boy robbed

 KUWAIT CITY, March 11: A Kuwaiti woman sustained multiple injuries when her vehicle collided with another at an intersection on the Second Ring Road, opposite Mansouriya. Securitymen and rescue officers were dispatched to the location after the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior received information on the accident. They found the woman squeezed inside the damaged vehicle. She was taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the actual circumstances leading to the accident. In an unrelated incident, a vehicle, driven by a Kuwaiti man, rammed into the door of a famous commercial complex in Al-Rai without causing injuries. Preliminary investigations revealed the Kuwaiti lost control of the vehicle. The accident led to material losses as the glass door of the complex was completely damaged.

Delivery boy robbed: An Indian who works as delivery person for a fast food restaurant has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person civil ID, reports Al-Anba daily. The theft occurred past midnight when he was fast asleep. Police are looking for the suspect. Meanwhile, a Sri Lankan man has filed a complaint with the police accusing two compatriots and an unidentified person of robbing him, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint to the Mina Abdullah police the man said when he was on his way home they stopped him, beat him and stole KD 180. He has submitted a medical report showing injuries on his body.

Wanted man held: The Hawalli police have arrested an unidentified Arab man who had been sentenced in absentia for possessing hashish, reports Al-Anba daily. The trafficker has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department
