Two laborers fall in manhole, die KD 6,000, docus stolen: citizen

 KUWAIT CITY, March 11: Two Egyptian laborers of ages 23 and 24 died while two others sustained serious injuries when they fell into a manhole at a construction site in Jaber Al- Ahmad area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and firefighters and rescued the four trapped laborers. However, they examined them to discover two were dead and one was in critical condition while the other was stable condition. The corpses were referred to the Forensics Department while the two injured victims were referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment. The victims were employees of a leading construction company in Kuwait. A case was registered at Naeem Police Station and investigations are ongoing to unravel the circumstances behind the incident.

KD 6,000 stolen: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified thief of breaking into his home in Zahra and stealing KD 6,000 from the safe and official documents including shares certificates, reports Al-Anba daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.

Youths bailed out: Three unidentified Kuwaiti youths who were arrested and briefly detained at the Qashaniyah Police Station for trespassing a ‘no entry’ area have been released on bail, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspects were arrested by a police patrol.
