Drugs, KD 26,500 found on man Illegal Iraqi carrying drugs held

KUWAIT CITY, March 10:  Jahra securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti for possession of shabu (kind of drug) and cash amounting to KD 26,500. While patrolling the area, the officers flagged down a red vehicle as they noticed its erratic movement.  When they inspected the vehicle, which was driven by a Kuwaiti, the officers discovered a bag containing shabu and the above mentioned amount. A case was registered and the Kuwaiti was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
Iraqi arrested: Hawally securitymen arrested an Iraqi for violating the Residency Law; in addition to a financial case filed against him and for the possession of a roll of hashish, along with drug paraphernalia. While patrolling in Salmiya, the officers got suspicious of the behavior of the Iraqi who was walking in the area.  The officers approached him for routine inspection.  This led to the discovery of the crimes he committed, so he was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action. In an unrelated incident, a Kuwaiti was arrested along Arabian Gulf Street for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs, including hashish. The items were discovered when a team of securitymen approached the suspect as his car broke down and caused traffic jam in the area.  He was referred to the relevant security department for questioning and other legal action.
Car thief caught: Jahra securitymen arrested a man for stealing  a vehicle. Security sources revealed a Kuwaiti noticed three vehicles parked near the camp of his neighbor, so he went there to ask who they are but one of them threatened him with a weapon.  When his neighbor came back, the latter reported the incident to the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior. Jahra securitymen were dispatched to the location but the three vehicles had already sped off .  The officers managed to arrest one of the suspects and they discovered the vehicle he was using was reported stolen in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh some days ago.  The other suspects escaped and police are now looking for them. The arrested suspect and the stolen vehicle were referred to Sulaibiya Police Station for the necessary legal action.
