Labor keen on addressing visa trading problem Interior allots Wednesdays to receive people with complaints

KUWAIT CITY, March 10:  Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Jamal Al-Dosari has affirmed that the ministry is keen on addressing the visa trading issue, asserting Minister Hind Al-Subaih prioritizes the issue as it affects the demographic structure of the country. Al-Dosari made the statement when he visited the Capital Labor Department recently. On the other hand, Al-Subaih reiterated the ministry remains committed to the one-vote mechanism in the cooperative societies. Moreover, the Employees Affairs Committee at the ministry approved the recruitment and seconding of 38 employees in supervisory posts in the offices of the minister and undersecretary, as well as the Legal and Financial units.

The committee took this decision during its first meeting Sunday and after reviewing the complaints submitted by employees. Also, Undersecretary Abdulmohsen Al-Mutairi has instructed the banks to freeze the accounts of Kuwait Medical Association for failure to comply with ministerial decree number 24/1962 on public utility societies. Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Suleiman Fahad Al-Fahad has allotted Wednesday of each week to receive people with complaints and legal transactions which require approval from the concerned security officials, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting the Media Security Department.

In a press statement recently, the department revealed Al-Fahad will carry out the task, along with other officials like Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali, acting Assistant Undersecretary for Correctional Institutions and Sentence Enforcement Major General Khalid Al-Dayeen, and Director General of the Immigration Department Brigadier Adnan Al-Kandari.
According to the department, these officials will be in the old building of the ministry in Sharq from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm every Wednesday. 
It also advised the people to bring all the necessary papers to guarantee the immediate completion of their transactions.  It added  Al-Fahad will also receive people with complaints on other days of the week, if the need arises.
