The Minister Council instructed government authorities and other independent bodies about the importance of conducting studies and strategies to counter the anticipated financial deficit in its revenues, which is because of mismanagement or lack of collection of dues, reports Al-Anba daily quoting governmental sources. They indicated that the Minister Council also stressed the need for increasing revenues based on the government plan and programs. They explained that the government directed its sectors to collect its delayed revenues from every government body before the general state budget is endorsed. The sources added that these government bodies should submit their quarterly annual reports on their achievements to the department that monitors the government’s performance in this regard.
