Army officer in disoriented state held with drugs, guns & bullets Securitymen seize vehicle converted into mobile ‘drugs grocery’

KUWAIT CITY, March 8: A 24-year old military officer of Special Forces was arrested for driving under narcotic influence and possessing various types of drugs, a gun, an air rifle, 46 bullets and a taser, reports Al-Rai daily. The officers were patrolling Salmiya area when they noticed a vehicle with Saudi Arabian number plate parked beside Al-Khansa Street. They approached the vehicle and checked the details of the motorist to discover he is a Special Forces officer. Sensing his disoriented state, the officers checked his vehicle and found the illicit items. The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Mobile ‘drugs grocery’ seized: A private vehicle that was tactically converted into a mobile ‘illicit drug grocery’ was seized in Khaitan and referred to the Seized Vehicle Garage, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, the officers were patrolling Khaitan area when they noticed the vehicle parked in a strange location. The occupants of the vehicle ran away when they noticed the approaching patrol vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle to find five plastic bags containing illicit drugs. Acting Farwaniya Security Chief Brigadier Mohammad Al-Enezi ordered the officers to seize the vehicle. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspects.
