KUWAIT CITY, March 1: The recent demonstrations of Bedoun protestors in Taima area escalated to a dangerous level after four Bedoun men and two GCC nationals vandalized Taima Police Station and damaged police vehicles, reports Al-Rai daily.  Informed security sources said the six men deliberately caused damage to police vehicles and broke the windows of the police station. They revealed that the six suspects have been arrested. The two GCC suspects were deported to their country while the four Bedoun men were referred to the deportation center.

Sources said the arrested Bedoun men include one of the leaders who instigated the demonstration and attack on Security Forces particularly during the recent demonstrations in Taima and Sulaibiya where a number of securitymen sustained injuries.  They explained that he is 26 years old and resides in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, adding that he has two accounts on Twitter through which he incites the community for holding demonstrations and riots.

They went on to explain that the second arrested Bedoun man is 22 years old with a criminal record for trying to run over police officers, and he is wanted by law with a sentence of two-year imprisonment, adding that the other two Bedoun youths are 19 years of age.
