Asians held as sleuths find ‘biggest’ ever liquor factory Nepali caught drunk

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: Ahmadi securitymen apprehended a gang of four Asians in Sabah Al- Salem for operating what the officials described as ‘the largest liquor factory in the country’ and confiscated 180 barrels of local brew plus 800 bottles of the contraband ready for sale. The discovery was based on a tip-off the security directorate received about the activities of the suspects. Guarded by search and arrest warrant, security operatives raided the factory and arrested the suspects. They were referred to the concerned authority.

Nepali caught drunk: Police have arrested a 30-year-old Nepalese for drinking alcohol. He was arrested in Farwaniya, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, An unidentified cross dresser who was arrested by the Hawalli police, has been referred to the General Department for Criminal Investigation, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspect was arrested by the Salmiya police during routine patrolling.
