In a recent press statement, the administration revealed they received information about the driver smuggling narcotic substances by using a truck for transporting food products from his country to Kuwait. It took the security officers 12 days to put the area, where the truck is expected to arrive, under surveillance that was arranged after receiving detailed information about the truck and the suspect to ensure he will not run away. When the truck arrived, the officers inspected it thoroughly; resulting in the discovery of the contraband. During interrogation, the truck driver disclosed he is working for another person who was arrested in an entrapment. Both suspects and confiscated items were referred to the concerned authorities for the necessary legal measures.
