Indian Bootlegger held

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 7:  The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentified Indian for trafficking in locally manufactured booze, reports Annahar daily. He was arrested by a police patrol in Mahboula. Police have reportedly seized from him 12 bottles of booze and referred him and the contraband to the concerned authorities. During interrogation the man admitted to the charge and led police to the house where he was manufacturing alcohol.

Drugs overdose: A 30-year-old Kuwaiti who was found unconscious under a bridge between Salwa and Mishref has been admitted to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to the daily the man had taken an overdose of drugs. He was found by a police patrol slumped over the steering wheel. He has been admitted to the hospital under police guard. He is expected to be referred for interrogation after he recovers.
