Two in shooting - Youth ‘fanfare’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Police are looking for a high school student from Jahra for shooting in the air with a Kalashnikov rifle, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The incident spread panic among fellow students and passersby. When the school administration reported the incident to the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry police rushed to the school but did not find the suspect. The Education Minister has requested for a detailed report on the incident. If what has been mentioned is true, the student will be dismissed from school.

Similarly, police have arrested a young Kuwaiti for shooting randomly in the air and endangering lives of residents of the area, reports Al-Anba daily. The incident happened in Riqqa. The daily added, police acting on information rushed to the area and caught the youth red-handed and seized from him a gun. During interrogation he said the gun belongs to his dead brother. He has been handed over to the authorities.
