Jahra policemen nab 100 residence law violators 120 traffic citations issued, seized 5 vehicles

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: Jahra securitymen held inspection campaigns in several locations within Jahra Industrial Area during which they arrested 100 violators of Residency Law, seized five vehicles, issued 120 citations against various traffic violations and closed down four illegal garages.

According to security sources, the campaigns were held based on instructions of Jahra Security Director Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah.

Securitymen set up a number of security checkpoints in the area where they arrested the wanted individuals and violators of Residency Law. They affirmed that such security campaigns will be held throughout Jahra Governorate to arrest the violators of law and maintain the security of the governorate.

Meanwhile, for the first time, Jahra policemen launched an intensive campaign in Sulaibiya in search of stolen cars and vehicles used in cases of theft, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Officers from intelligence unit checked the number plates of vehicles parked in front of houses or abandoned cars, and five stolen cars were recovered
