It was a lovely cool Friday at the KLL fields with many exciting games played. Every division played with gusto. In the T-ball division the NBK Rays played an excellent game against the Al Atraf Blue Jays. An outstanding effort was made by Rays’ players Ali Al Ghareeb, Finnley Callaway and Nasser Ahmadi. All three have shown a great amount of improvement as the season has progressed. Ali who has been hitting the ball extremely well, has also started throwing the baseball with proper form with Nasser doing a great job of leading the team on defense.  In the other game in the T-ball division, Tamimi Tigers played the BioConservacion Reds with great fun to be had by all.

On the other hand, Taco Bell Yankees had a great day over the Gloria Jean’s Coffees Braves, finishing with a final score of 14-10.  The Yankees really pulled together and all of the hard work done as a team has finally produced some success.  Mya Morton was the outstanding home run champ as well as Arianna Qabazard.  Sara Alwagfi and Dana Althafiri worked together and provided great pitching.  Way to go Yankees! shouts the coach from the sidelines.   In the second game of the division, the Police Eyewear Red Sox played Mimar Cardinals.  The Red Sox were too hot for the Cardinals over the weekend, defeating them in a close game.
