Syrian woman enters Kuwait without a visa

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13:  Police are looking for an unidentified employee at the Kuwait International Airport for helping a Syrian woman to enter the country without a visa, reports Al-Anba daily. The woman was arrested by police after someone tipped the security authorities. During interrogation, the woman said she knows nothing about the procedures accept that her husband paid the money to the employee. The employee is said to have stopped going to work after sensing trouble.

Armed robbery: The Mubarak Al- Kabir police have arrested two thieves for kidnapping a Kuwaiti man and stealing KD 250, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. A security source said police intensified their efforts and managed to seize the suspects within 48 hours of filing the complaint. The suspects, allegedly kidnapped the Kuwaiti, took him to an ATM of an unidentified bank branch and forced him to withdraw, took the money and escaped. Both men were reportedly armed with knives.
