GCC national tries to stab doctor Barber accuses customer of assault

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Jahra police are looking for a GCC national who tried to stab an Arab doctor in Taima polyclinic, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the GCC national visited the doctor in the evening and asked him to sign on a sick leave because the man was absent to work that day, but the doctor refused when the man declined to show his ID. He became incensed and threatened to stab the doctor but fled when the doctor screamed for help. The source said an official in the polyclinic managed to note down the number plate of the culprit’s vehicle before he escaped, and made it available to the police.

Barber assaulted: A Pakistani barber in Al-Naseem area accused a Kuwaiti customer of assault. He submitted medical report substantiating the claim, reports Al- Rai daily. During investigation, the citizen also said the barber and his compatriots had beaten him up. He submitted medical report stating bruises and other injuries he suffered as a result of beating. A case was registered.

Citizen found dead: A Kuwaiti, in his 30s, was found dead in his house in Farwaniya, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Paramedics and securitymen rushed to the location after the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior received information that a man was found lying unconscious inside his house. When the paramedics checked the condition of the man, they found out he was already dead. His remains were referred to Forensics. Investigations are ongoing to determine the actual cause of death
