‘Don’t donate cash to radicals’ - Syrian cleric warns

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: Syrian cleric, identified as Adnan Al- Arour, has appealed to the Kuwaitis not to give money to Kuwaiti preacher Hajjaj Al-Ajmi who allegedly sends this money to radicals in Syria to kill Muslims, reports Al-Rai daily. Dr Bassam Al-Shatti, Professor at the Faculty of Sharia in Kuwait University has warned against donating money to radicals. He stressed, “We should know to whom we are giving donations.”

Iraqi arrested: Police have arrested an unidentified Iraqi man for slapping an Egyptian salesman inside a well-known mall in Al- Rai, reports Al-Rai daily. Asecurity source said an Iraqi was shopping with his family and the daughter entered the shop and started playing with expensive watches. The salesman scolded the girl and told her to leave the shop. The girl complained to her father and the latter lost his cool and slapped the salesman in the face. After the salesman complained to the police, securitymen checked the CCTV camera footage, arrested the man and referred him to the Andalus Police Station.

Maid steals cash: Police are looking for an Ethiopian housemaid for stealing KD 3,000 and an expensive necklace from her sponsor’s home, reports Al-Rai daily. A case has been filed with the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station.
