Two Kuwaitis and a bedoun assault Indian Release ordered of ‘video-clip’ officer

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: Two Kuwaitis and a bedoun have been arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution for beating an unidentified Indian motorist, overturning his vehicle and escaping from the scene, reports Al- Shahed daily. The incident happened on King Fahd Expressway. The victim has been admitted to the Adan Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.

Blatant violation: Police are looking for a gang of youths for forcing motorists to pull over in the middle of the road and harassing and beating them, reports Al-Shahed daily. The incident happened in a suburb of Saad Al-Abdullah. One of the victims, an Asian driver, has submitted a medical report.

Release ordered of ‘video-clip’ officer:The Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al- Khalid ordered the release of a policeman working for the Ahmadi Security Department after a Kuwaiti woman had made a clip of him with her cellphone while he was on duty and talked to him inappropriately, reports Al-Anba daily. The release came after the minister saw the content of the clip which was posted on the social networking website. A security source pointed out the policeman plans to sue the woman who made the clip while the policeman was on his way to the woman’s house after she complained a thief had broken into her home

Garages busted: The General Traffic Department led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic Affairs Major- General Abdulfattah Al-Ali in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality recently raided some camps and seized 22 vehicles and towed them to the Municipality garage, reports Al-Anba daily. This happened when the GTD received information that some youths were making illegal changes in their vehicles to make the engine more powerful and then use these vehicles in illegal races and to make stunts.
