A promo photo of NBK desert competition on Instagram
Over 1000 participates in NBK competition Bid to raise environmental awareness

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: More than 1000 fans participated in the National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) Instagram Desert Competition since its launch last week. Essa Salem Hamad Al Sheikh Musaed and Ahmad Essa Ahmad Amer won the best photos in the first week of this competition that runs until Jan 2, 2014. NBK followers on Instagram can take part in this competition by taking pictures of the desert on the occasion of the camping season and post them on NBK page on Instagram @NBKPage with the hash tag #NBKDesert. The competition runs for four weeks. Two winners will be awarded weekly and eight winners in total with cash prizes up to KD 2000.  Participants must be followers of NBK’s official Instagram account.

The concept behind this competition is to raise environmental awareness and encourage people to participate and help in keep the environment clean and take part in social responsibility. NBK greatly values social media as an easy mean to communicate with customers and build a strong and lasting relationship.
