KD 8,500 cash, KD 7,600 worth jewellery stolen from 2 homes

Al-Seyassah Staff and Agencies KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: A citizen filed a case against unknown individuals that broke into his house in Al-Oyoun area and made away with KD 6,000 cash, three smart phones (I-phone and Blackberry), gold jewellery worth KD 3,600 and family photo album. In his complaint to security officers in Taima police station, the citizen said unknown individuals raided his house through the front gate and window of the main house to steal the aforementioned items. A case was registered. Investigation is underway to trail the culprits.

An unknown individual broke into the flat of a Lebanese expatriate in Salmiya area and stole KD 2,500 cash, jewellery worth KD 4,000 and important official documents such as passports, marriage certificate, etc, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the burglary, securitymen rushed to the location with officers from Criminal Evidence Department. They lifted fingerprints and collected other evidences to identify the suspect. A case has been registered for investigations.
