Pakistanis and an Afghan held for stealing from abandoned cars

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18:  The Jahra police have arrested a threeman gang — Pakistanis and an Afghan, for stealing tires and spare parts from cars, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources the suspects looked for breakdown cars on the side of the road and then stole the parts and escaped. When police received several complaints from motorists, they increased surveillance and caught the suspects in the act.

Car broken into: Police are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into the car of Kuwaiti man in Taima and stealing KD 1,200, reports Al-Rai daily. In a similar but unrelated incident, a burglar broke into the car of a Kuwaiti man in Sulaibiya and stole KD 600, the daily added. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints from both the cars to identify the culprits.

Expat extradited: The Kuwaiti Interpol has extradited a Lebanese citizen who was wanted by law in the UAE, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the Lebanese entered the country without his passport being stamped with the ‘ENTRY’ on his passport. Police are looking for the suspects who helped him enter the country
