2 held in liquor factory raid Indian attacked, phone stolen

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The Jahra police have arrested two Asians for manufacturing and selling locally-made alcohol, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to a security source a police patrol saw the two men carrying a bag and when the suspects saw the police they threw the bag and continued running. Police chased and arrested both men and seized from them bottles of alcohol. The two men then guided police to their room inside a building under construction which they used to manufacture alcohol. From the room police have allegedly confiscated 263 bottles and 13 barrels containing raw material and alcohol manufacturing equipment. The contraband and the bootleggers have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Indian attacked: An unknown individual attacked an Indian expatriate and stole his mobile phone in Farwaniya area. According to security sources, the victim rushed to Farwaniya Police Station in a disheveled state wearing torn clothes and filed a case, informing securitymen that the suspect who was wearing casual attire attacked him and ran away with his mobile phone. Farwaniya securitymen noted the description of the suspect and they are carrying out investigations to arrest him.
