Gang held for selling drugs to male, female students

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: Four individuals — a military officer working at the Ministry of Defense and three Egyptians including a pharmacist — were arrested for selling narcotic pills to male and female students in cafés, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to a security source, detectives discovered an employee of Ministry of Defense selling narcotic pills to young drug dealers in cafés and entertainment centers in Nugra area, and arrested him. During interrogations, he confessed that he obtained the drugs from two Egyptian expatriates. Securitymen raided their apartments and arrested them. When questioned, they revealed about their supplier who is an Egyptian national working as a pharmacist. All four suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Meanwhile, officers from the Security Control Department of the General Administration of Oil and Vital Establishments arrested an Egyptian national at the gate in possession of narcotic pills, reports Al- Shahed daily. He was referred to the Directorate General for Drug Control for investigations.

Gun, wallet stolen: An unknown individual stole a hunting gun and the wallet of a Kuwaiti citizen from his vehicle which he had parked in front of a private hospital, reports Al-Anba daily. Meanwhile, an unknown individual stole KD 500 from the vehicle of a Kuwaiti citizen, which he had parked in front of Jahra Sports Club. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the two suspects
