‘Many Kuwaitis among foreigners killed in fight with Syrian forces’

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: The Al-Seyassah daily quoting Lebanese sources close to the Syrian regime said 18 foreigners have died in Damascus while fighting the government forces in the first half of March 2013. Three of the dead are Kuwaitis — Massoud Al-Ballam, Salama Ahmad Al-Bishi (35 years old) and Muslim bin Muhammad Zara’a. They died at the hands of government forces on March 9, 2013 on the outskirts of Damascus while fighting alongside a Muslim group. The daily added with these three deaths the total of Kuwaitis who have died since the outbreak of the ‘revolution’ two years ago to 42 confirmed deaths.
