Crispy banana
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 tbsp. rice flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 bananas
- 4 tbsp. golden syrup or cinnamon sugar
Method: In a bowl, sift together the dry ingredients, then add water and beat until smooth. Heat oil in a wok. Dip banana in batter and deep fry until brown. Serve drizzled with syrup or sprinkled with cinnamon sugar along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
