Kuwaiti, Syrian held with liquor and drugs Expat caught with forged KD 20 note

KUWAIT CITY, March 21: A Kuwaiti citizen and a Syrian national were arrested recently in possession of a bottle of imported liquor and drugs.
Reportedly, while Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they stopped a Japanese-made vehicle and checked the details of the two occupants to discover the driver is a Kuwaiti citizen while the passenger is a Syrian national.
Sensing their disoriented state, securitymen checked the vehicle and found a bottle of imported liquor and drugs.
They arrested the two suspects and referred them with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Forged note:
An unidentified expatriate was arrested recently in a commercial complex in Shuwaikh in possession of a forged KD 20 currency note.
Reportedly, when the in-charge officer of a commercial complex in Shuwaikh caught the expatriate with a forged currency note of KD 20, he immediately informed securitymen who rushed to the location and arrested the suspect.
During interrogations, he insisted that he did not know his cash was forged and he was unable to recall from where he obtained the forged note.
A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations.

Motorists held: Jahra securitymen arrested 12 individuals for reckless driving and stunt acts with their vehicles in the rain.
Reportedly, when Jahra securitymen received several complaints regarding individuals driving recklessly and performing stunts in the rain, they launched a security campaign. They arrested 12 individuals and seized their vehicles.
One of the reckless drivers crashed into the wall of a mosque while performing stunts. He ran away from the location, leaving his vehicle behind.
A case was registered against him and investigations are ongoing to arrest him.
