Amidst the silence of the concerned authorities, the streets in Kuwait have become ‘parking areas’ due to the worsening traffic problem. People find it difficult to reach their work places and homes on time as they get stuck on the roads daily; yet none of the authorities has taken any step to address the problem. 

The most frustrating aspect of the issue is the fact that sometimes the reason behind the traffic congestion is an accident or some motorists’ outright disregard of the traffic regulations, especially those who cross the red signal, use emergency lanes, leaving people stuck on the roads for hours.
