Answer: No, you can’t get a visa for an Indian maid because according to the Interior Ministry rules you can only apply for such a visa for a maid from a country other than your own.

Some people may not agree with this advice because they managed to procure visas for maids from their own countries. This has happened but this has mostly been due to “oversight” by some individual immigration officers and nearly in all such cases such requests have been rejected.
