Visa applications refused for Pakistani Nationals
After I read the news about the lifting of the ban on dependent visas for Pakistanis I went to the Ahmadi Immigration office for my wife’s visa, but the officials did not accept my application as I am working in the private sector with visa Article 18.
Several friends of mine also went to submit applications for their family visas, but not a single application was received. The situation is dazzling and it seems that somebody is trying to play with our emotions. Lets wait and see to what extent will we be “pressed”.

Answer: We have received many conflicting reports on the issue, varying from directorate to directorate. Some Pakistanis, from both the government and private sectors, have told us that their applications have been received although none of them has been given a visa as yet.
The government also recently announced that it had received over 10,000 applications and would take a decision on each of them soon. We are waiting word on the result also. We also hope that everything settles down quickly and the air is cleared on this issue.
So all we can advise on this issue is that you should not give up hope and keep trying regularly until your application is accepted.
