KUWAIT CITY, March 18: A Kuwaiti citizen filed a case with policemen in Qurain area and accused his friend of sending death threats to him via SMS.
Earlier on Saturday, the suspect is said to have fired gunshots at the citizen's car, following a heated debate in one Diwaniya at the aforementioned area, and the complainant only took the matter serious and reported the incident after he received SMS from his friend threatening to shoot at his flat. The suspect has since been arrested and referred to Public Prosecution.

Expat 'savaged': Some three men are said to have beaten and severely injured an Egyptian expatriate in Hawalli area. The victim was found by passersby in a pool of blood with stab wounds in the head and shoulder plus bruises in other places of the body. They notified the Operations Room about the incident.
Acting on information, a team of securitymen accompanied paramedics to the scene and the injured man was taken to Mubarak Hospital for medical attention. A case was registered. Hunt for the suspects has since begun.
