Police imposters assault Pakistani, steal wallet, car
KUWAIT CITY, March 17: Three unknown individuals, pretending to be securitymen, waylaid a Pakistani expatriate in Maidan Hawally and attacked him, after which they took his vehicle and fled from the location.
According to security sources, the Pakistani expatriate filed a case against the suspects at Maidan Hawally Police Station, informing securitymen that the suspects stopped him when he was driving his vehicle and demanded for his Civil ID. When he took out his wallet, they attacked him and snatched his wallet. They then took his vehicle and fled from the scene.
The victim explained that his wallet contained KD 45 and access card to Bayan Palace where he works as an AC technician.
Securitymen took down the details of his vehicle as well as the descriptions of the suspects, which they circulated to the patrol teams. Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects.
