KUWAIT CITY, March 14: An Egyptian woman filed a complaint against her Kuwaiti husband who allegedly beat her when she failed to return KD 30,000 which he gave to her on their wedding day.
The complainant attached a medical report to her complaint, showing injuries in different parts of her body. The officers summoned the husband for questioning.

Jokes turn violent: A Syrian got serious injuries after engaging in a fistfight with a compatriot.
Eyewitnesses revealed the two were exchanging jokes but the other got infuriated at a certain point, prompting him to take a knife to stab the other in the head. He fled from the scene immediately after the stabbing incident.
The injured is now confined at the Intensive Care Unit in Farwaniya Hospital, while the other Syrian was arrested later and referred to the Public Prosecution.
