KUWAIT CITY, March 13: A Bedoun man sexually assaulted a Lebanese woman inside a tent in Fahaheel area when she filed for social aid to pay her rent.
The woman was forced into a tent, beaten and sexually assaulted by the Bedoun who offered to drive her home after the Welfare Committee asked for the signature of her husband.
In her complaint to officers in Fahaheel police station, the woman complained the Bedoun drove to a tent, assaulted her and drove her back to the flat. She provided police with details of the suspect and a case was registered for investigation.

Dad’s wife beaten: A youth is said to have become incensed when he learnt that his father’s wife was pregnant and started beating the woman in the presence of his father at their family home in Mubarak Al-Kabeer.
The man reportedly controlled his son and notified security operatives about the incident. A case was registered.

‘Cannot quit Kuwait’: An Iranian man, who is believed to be in his 70s, has filed a complaint against his wife accusing his wife of tearing her passport in an attempt stay in Kuwait, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.
According to the complainant, who is 40 years older than his wife, said this happened when he informed her that it is time for them to leave Kuwait and settle permanently in Iran.
The wife said she was unwilling to go since she has found a good job and tore off her passport.
The wife will be summoned for interrogation.
