Indian commits suicide as man, woman die in mishaps

KUWAIT CITY, March 12: An Indian man working on a farm in Kabd allegedly ended his life by hanging himself with a rope tied to the ceiling in his room, reports Al-Anba daily.
When the Kuwaiti sponsor was the corpse dangling from a rope, he called the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry.
Meanwhile, the corpse of the worker has been referred to Forensics.
The remains of an unidentified 35-year-old Ethiopian man who died while working on the farm of a Kuwaiti man in Abdali, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Police are conducting intensive investigations to identify the circumstances of death.
According to some Asian workers the victim’s corpse was found floating in a water tank. The co-workers rushed the man to the area clinic but he was declared dead upon arrival.
In another incident, a Sri Lankan woman who is believed to be in her 30s died on the spot in a traffic accident which took place in front of the Jahra Sporting Club, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The victim was crossing the road and when she was run over by a Yemeni. The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics and the motorist to the area police station for interrogation.
