KUWAIT CITY, March 8: The Ja’afari circle of Personal Status Court presided by Magistrate Ali Matouq revoked the custody right of a Kuwaiti woman to her three children and obliged her to return every sum she received from the ex-husband from the time when he handed over the children’s custody.
Defense Lawyer Ali Al-Ali pleaded on behalf of his client and stressed his estranged wife has no right to the upkeep of their three children. He also demanded custody of their three children and asked the court to make the woman pay for the legal fees.
The lawyer explained that the custody right of the three children had been given to his client by a court that also restricted the ex-wife from keeping the children.
