KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Police have arrested a 31-year old Kuwaiti man for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the arrest came when a male nurse at the Amiri Hospital fearing something might have happened to the man because he remained in the toilet for two hours, called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Police rushed to the spot and knocked on the toilet door several times. Finding no response, they forced open the door and caught the man red-handed consuming drugs. He was taken to the Sharq Police Station and then handed over to the General Department for Drug Control.

Comedian arrested: Police arrested a well-known Egyptian comedian for punching a Kuwaiti in the nose and driving off in a car with a compatriot, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said this happened when both men were driving along a road and each claimed right of way.
The arrest came when passersby noted the license plate number of the vehicle and informed the police.
The comedian tried to get away with his sense of humor but it did not work at the police station.
Police have also arrested the compatriot and referred both men to the Public Prosecution.
