Kuwaitis receive death threats Relief workers seek Jordan’s help
KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Several Kuwaiti activists who provide relief to the Syrian refugees in Jordan have received death threats. The threats have allegedly been issued by those who are supporting the regime of Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syria, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to sources the thugs of Bashar Al-Assad have infiltrated the refugee camps.
According to the activists, the aid, donations and relief given by Kuwait and other GCC states to Syrian refugees in Jordan has been like a thorn in the Baathist regime and its thugs.
Several relief workers are said to have sought the assistance of the security authorities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
