KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: The Public Relations and Coordination Unit at the Medical Emergency Department successfully implemented its contingency plan for the national holidays from Feb24-26, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting Unit Head Waleed Al-Othman.

Al-Othman disclosed 12 centers were established throughout the country to ensure immediate and appropriate response to emergency situations.  He said the department dealt with a total of 454 cases during the holidays through the coordinated efforts of 10 clinics, 35 ambulances and 101 paramedics in various locations.

Praising the efforts of the employees in the unit and the entire department, Al-Othman asserted they all worked hard during the holidays to give the best services to the people.
