KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: Ministry of Communication will cooperate with the Ministry of Education to provide schools with Caller-ID phone lines in order to deter pranksters from making hoax or disturbing calls to the teaching staff of the school, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily quoting reliable sources.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that the ministry is in the process of implementing a project for establishing a building to replace the current one, which has become dilapidated, indicating that the project is currently in the planning and design phase.
Furthermore, reliable sources from Ministry of Education revealed that the ministry will refer for investigation all employees who were absent on Feb 27 and 28 following the National and Liberation days’ holidays and will take legal procedures against them.
In addition, they indicated that more than 25,000 12th grade students of both science and arts majors presented medical justifications, which will allow them to write the postponed examinations.
They stressed that the ministry was forced to accept these medical excuses by the students because the Ministry of Health had officially published it, adding that the first examination for the students will be next Monday.
