KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26, (KUNA): The festive month of February in Kuwait is considered a golden opportunity to revive a number of economic and service sectors in the country due to the huge number of promotional savings and discounts that take place throughout the month.

These special deals and discount are not only restricted to the retail and fashion businesses but also extend to health clubs, spas and health clinics. The more discounts offered, the higher the demand from consumers; hence, the economy during this month becomes more alive than the rest of the year. What makes the month of February a magnet of these special deals is that it celebrates both the country’s national holidays and the annual shopping festival of Hala February; business owners seize this festive opportunity to offer their services and commodities to the consumers.

Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) went out on the streets and paid a special attention to the health clubs and health clinics industries and how well they are doing during this month.

Samuel Ghaly, business development manager at Flex Fitness and Resorts, told KUNA that “as a patriotic gesture, we offer special discounts and gifts colored by a national celebration theme to attract more customers to join the health club.” He noted.

His company seized this movement in the market to increase its profit. The health club sees an increase of 30 percent during the month of February, he added.

Meanwhile, Management Coordinator Rima Sharif at Faisal Care Clinic noted that discounts on dental, arthritis and laser therapies reach up to 25 percent during this month. She noted that not only business owners benefit from the market livelihood of this month but also the public who take advantage of these special deals to save more money.
