KUWAIT CITY, Feb 25: Three Kuwaiti brothers whose ages range between 16 and 18 have been admitted to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital — one of them to the Intensive Care Unit, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The brothers were injured following a fight between two groups at the entertainment park in Hawalli.
Acting on information police rushed to the spot but failed to arrest anyone. The victims were taken to the hospital by paramedics.
It all started when an unidentified youth was following their sister and passing comments at her. When the brothers objected to his behavior 20 youths attacked them with knives.
The father of the victims has severely criticized one policeman for assaulting his injured son. The policeman accused his son of fighting although he was the one who was screaming for help.
The father also said it is unbelievable paramedics arrived at the scene two hours after the incident was reported.
