KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: Five girls with seven boys were apprehended by operatives from the Criminal Evidences Department for consuming alcohol at a camp in Jelaia area. The officers went to the camp and discovered the youths were heavily drunk after one of the boys reportedly slapped a girl in the face and she left the camp enraged.
Four other girls who were with the girl had tried in vain to convince her to return to the camp until a patrol car spotted them and approached to check their details. Meanwhile, the girls led the officers to the camp where their male compatriots were busy drinking. All 12 suspects were arrested and referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.
