Indian robbed at gunpoint - forced to withdraw from ATM machine
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: An unknown individual, under the pretext of being a police officer, forced an Indian expatriate to withdraw all his money from his bank account after threatening to kill him using a pistol, reports Al-Anba daily.
The victim informed securitymen that the suspect claimed he was police officer and demanded him to get in the car to check his details. The suspect then drove him to a bank, where he threatening the victim using a pistol and demanded him to withdraw all the money in his bank account from an ATM machine.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
Meanwhile, a citizen has filed a complaint against an unidentified person who allegedly stole his motorbike which was parked in front of his house in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, says Al-Seyassah. The complainant provided police with a detailed description of the stolen motorbike and investigations are underway to identify the thief.
