Orange cake
Ingredients:
- 125 gm butter, softened;
- 1/4 cup milk;
- 1/4 cup orange juice;
- 2 eggs;
- 3/4 cup caster sugar;
- 1-1/2 cup self-raising flour;
- 1 tbsp. orange rind, finely grated
For Icing:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened;
- 1-1/2 cup icing sugar;
- 2 tbsp. orange juice;
- 1/2 tsp fine orange zest
Method:
Combine all the cake ingredients together and beat thoroughly for 3 min. Pour mixture into a greased loaf or ring tin. Bake in centre of 180° C oven for 30-40 min. Allow to cool and ice with orange icing.
